The palate is well balanced with slightly firm tannin

There is a lot of gas that may very well be accentuating the sense of bitterness as the underlying tannins do seem to be sufficiently ripe

with excellent clarity to its pear and orange flavors

The 2010 Gloria has a very attractive and quite intense bouquet with a surfeit of blackberry and wild strawberry scents

This is quite densely fruited with floral and freshly turned earth aromas adding interest to the wild and medium-toned red berry fruit

Verite, Desir Vintage:2008 The palate is well balancedThe 2006 Le Desir, a blend of 49% Cabernet Franc, 41% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Malbec, is offering a fine balance of concentrated fruit and mature savoriness. It has a deep garnet color and singular aromas of Morello cherries, mint chocolate, coffee grounds, aniseed and black truffles. The palate is still muscular, with gently chewy tannins, fresh acidity, intense fruits and complex savory layers on the finish. It will continue to evolve
