Here are the markers of Maipo in a cooler vintage (90% of grapes were harvested in May) - still rich and exotic with gentle spice

and both were from the same case

Launay Horiot, Pommard Clos Blanc other_regions_australia Good stuff here too(from a . 17 ha parcel). Generous wood fights somewhat with the ripe liqueur like nose that is comprised primarily by notes of both red and dark pinot fruit that are liberally laced with pungent earth nuances. There is excellent richness to the lush and markedly round medium weight flavors that deliver fine length on the solidly complex and persistent finish. This robust and slightly rustic effort is not quite as structured as the Chaponnires though
